Tomorrow carries,
on the back of yesterday,
stars twinkle,
behind blankets of cloud,
earth moves silently round,
descendants beckon me to the future,
ancestors call me home,
kind faces keep me warm,
sitting on the shore,
at the feet of the mountains,
watching a peaceful exchange,
tide gives and takes away,
leaving on the beach,
whilst washing away,
taking out to sea,
and bringing to land,
trees stand firm and sway,
once drifting,
chose to stay,
